Lesson Policies

Thank you for choosing to study with us. We look forward to helping you develop your musical knowledge and technique and work toward your goals.

Payment:

Payments are made on a monthly subscription basis through the centralohiomusic.com website. These payments are billed automatically at the same time each month, based on the start date you set for your subscription. These payments entitle the student to one month of lessons and student discounts.

Lessons are pre-paid for one month after the date of each monthly payment.

You will be billed for the same amount each month, regardless of the number of lessons in the month. The subscription payments represent an annual tuition paid out monthly - this makes costs and payments more easily manageable for students, instructors, and Central Ohio Music.

We do not offer credit for partial months or any months with fewer lessons.

Late/missed payments may be subject to additional fees or result in termination of lessons.

Prices are subject to change. Currently enrolled students will be notified of any pricing changes before their next payment.

Scheduling:

Lessons will be held at the same time each week. Please understand that our instructors reserve a time for you each week and you are committing to attending lessons at that time. Should you need to reschedule your lesson time, we will do our best to work with you but lessons will be rescheduled according to availability and at the discretion of your instructor and Central Ohio Music.

In the event that you need to cancel a lesson, please give 24 hours’ notice and you may be able to schedule a make up lesson with your instructor or another instructor. Make-up lessons are offered at the instructors’ discretion and according to availability of time and space for lessons.

If you are sick, do not come to lessons.

If your instructor is unable do your lesson due to emergency or illness, you will be given advance notice if possible.

In the event of inclement weather, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent lessons from occurring or endanger students or instructors, lessons will be cancelled and you will be given advance notice if possible. Lessons will be re-scheduled at the instructor’s discretion and according to availability.
